Mark Holmen
Mark is the pioneer of the Faith at Home movement. He is a national and international consultant and speaker – and founder of Faith At Home Ministries. Mark has written over a dozen books on family, faith and ministry, and has been a popular conference and seminar speaker for Focus on the Family and the D6 Conference. Mark’s first book, Faith Begins at Home was written after George Barna contacted him encouraging him to write about his experience in ministry and faith at home.
Brian Siewert
Brian has been a speaker and director for Focus on the Family, the Willow Creek Association, and presently with Family Life. Brian’s greatest passion is to serve the Lord in connection with local churches and has served in various church pastoral ministry roles. He has spoken extensively on marriage and family, is a college professor on marriage and family ministry and is the primary author of The Marriage Connection by Focus on the Family Canada

Faith @ Home Revealed
What is happening outside of church? What does discipleship look like when your congregation steps outside the church building?
Could it be that the decline of Christianity in America has less to do with what’s happening at church and more to do with what’s not happening in the homes of church goers? For the first time, ground-breaking new research of church-going adults reveals some stunning findings of what is happening outside of church by way of discipleship. We will unveil the results of surveying 6000+ adults who told us how they feel about discipleship practices, what they are doing about it, and how they want their church to help.
This information could change the way you do ministry at church.
Session Two
Faith @Home Addressed
What is happening at church? What does ministry look like at church when the view is to impact discipleship at home?
Faith at Home Ministries has been active for over a decade in working with churches to examine their discipleship programs to see how they are impacting faith life at home and this session will take the findings of over 6000 church goers and provide practical examples and models for how your church can truly move people from being one hour consumers of church to 24/7 faith at home focused followers of Christ.
Practitioners will give practical ideas for you to take home and implement in your church.
SEMINAR TWO
Stay In The Game Grandparenting

Based on research among grandparents, this session showcases the roadblocks many grandparents face as they seek to be a spiritual influence in the lives of their adult children and grandchildren and then it provides practical ways to overcome these roadblocks so that you can get back in the game as a spiritual influence.
SEMINAR THREE
IMPRESSIVE PARENTING
6:30 – 8:00
What can we do, at home, to help our children know, love and follow Jesus? This session will provide all sorts of practical tools and examples for parents to help them bring prayer, Bible reading, faith talk, worship and appropriate boundaries and discipline into the home. If you want practical advice and ideas for how to grow your children spiritually, this is the session for you!

Is Faith@Home a program or curriculum?
No. Faith@Home is a Biblically called for aspect of a discipleship strategy that we want to reveal the reality of and help churches to get better at. There is no program or curriculum that you will be asked to purchase or subscribe to. We are here to serve the church not sell tbe church.
Who should come to the church leader seminar?
Any and all church leaders, lay or staff, will benefit from the seminar but the best case scenario is for the Sr. Pastor to come with their key ministry leaders and a few elders.
Is Faith@Home primarily a children’s or family ministry strategy?
No. Faith@Home is a critical component to a church’s discipleship strategy. Every ministry of the church should be working towards equipping people to be 24/7, faith at home focused followers of Christ and not just one-hour consumers if church.
Can you tell me more about the survey you developed?
We developed a survey that enables church’s to assess what is happening in the homes of their church attendees as it relates to their faith life attitudes, behaviors and areas where they desire help. What is your new book about?

Is Faith@Home Ministries connected to any specific denomination?
No. We have worked with churches from many different denominations and from many different countries as well. Faith@Home is a Biblical principle that should exist in any Christian church’s discipleship strategy no matter what the denomination? So, no matter what your church’s denomination is, you will find practical help at the seminars.
I’m in a small church so will this be applicable to us?
Absolutely! What we have found is that in many cases it is easier to implement faith at home strategies and practices in a smaller church.
Who should attend the evening seminar?
Put simply, any parents and grandparents, no matter where they are on the spiritual growth spectrum, as it will serve to inspire, motivate and equip any and all who attend.
